Teal Point is beautiful! The grounds are immaculate, and the rooms are always clean and inviting. This is our second year and we’ve already reserved for 2026⭐ The staff is friendly, and go out of their way to make sure your stay is pleasant, and that you have everything you need. The resort is right on the lake, and their docks are top notch. Great view. This resort and this lake are our favorites, especially in the Fall when trees start turning colors. We love sitting out and staring at the lake and scenery. We took advantage of the terrain and enjoyed walking and hiking and seeing all the wildlife. Great place to choose for your next vacation in Mountain Home.

We have been going on vacation here for 15 or more years. Cabins and boats are clean and well taken care of. Landscaping is beautiful and such a calming experience for us. You will not be disappointed.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Teal Point. Stayed for a week, and rented a boat for two of those days. Cabin, (#5, 2 bedroom), boat and grounds were all well cared for and in excellent condition. Plus the view is incredible! Owners were extremely helpful and really flexible trying to match our schedule. We hope to come back sooner rather than later. Cannot recommend highly enough. Thank you!

When my original cabin reservation fell through due to a double-booking, I ended up at Teal Point Resort on Lake Norfork, and what could have been a disappointing situation turned into a wonderful experience thanks to their exceptional hospitality. From the moment I arrived, the owners were incredibly accommodating about the last-minute booking circumstances. They went out of their way to ensure I had a comfortable place to stay despite the unexpected nature of my reservation. Their warmth and professionalism immediately put me at ease after what had been a frustrating start to my trip. The cabin itself was absolutely lovely. Based on what other guests have raved about online, I can confirm that Teal Point truly lives up to its stellar reputation. The cabin was spotlessly clean and I mean immaculate. It's clear the owners take tremendous pride in maintaining their property to the highest standards. The cabin was well-furnished with everything I needed. The large front porch offered a beautiful view of the surroundings, creating a peaceful atmosphere that was perfect for unwinding. Since I visited during the off-season, I primarily used the cabin as a comfortable place to rest and didn't take advantage of the resort's other amenities like the pool or boat rentals. However, I could see that the grounds were beautifully maintained and the facilities appeared to be in excellent condition. The resort's location on Lake Norfork is stunning, and I can only imagine how wonderful it would be to visit during peak season when all the water activities and recreational options are in full swing. What impressed me most was the owners' attentiveness and hospitality. They clearly care deeply about their guests' experiences and work hard to ensure everyone feels welcome. Even though my stay was brief and unplanned, I never felt like an afterthought or inconvenience. Teal Point Resort is exactly the kind of place that makes you want to return. While I came here by chance, I would absolutely choose to stay here intentionally in the future. The combination of pristine accommodations, breathtaking lakeside views, and genuinely caring owners creates an experience that goes beyond just having a place to sleep. I highly recommend Teal Point Resort to anyone looking for quality accommodations in the Mountain Home area.

My first trip to Teal Point was in March of 1974 when the Doty family owned and ran the resort. There were only eight cabins. 1977 was the first year I bought my family for a summer vacation (2 weeks) and we have came the same time ever since. Then there was the Baars who owned it for a while and had an old couple that ran it for him. Karl and Regina purchased it in the 80S and ran it and built it into the resort it is today. Scott and his wife have bought and taken over the resort and are doing a wonderful job continuing the great service I have experienced with his father and mother (Karl and Regina). I have spent 40 days at Teal Point this year and the past several years. I have never seen a resort with the view and amenities that Teal Point provides. Oh did I mention that they have two great boat docks for your boat or boat rental.

Beds are way to soft and old. Lots of paneling in the rooms, Woodburner heats up entire room, you need matches or lighter to start, size is good for 2 ppl and dog, needs better identification on houses it was hard to locate. Overlooks the hillside.quiet, 20 minutes from location we needed to go.price was good vs hotel rates however was off season for this place.
